Ministry of Education to Start Airing Lessons For Primary School Pupils on Radio.

The Uganda Ministry of Education and Sports has revealed that it will start airing lessons on various radio stations to ensure continuity of learning. This comes after the President’s address that saw all schools temporarily close for 42 days until the second wave of COVID-19 is under control.

The Ministry of Education Permanent Secretary, Alex Kakooza says that the Ministry will be airing lessons for all learners. The Ministry will start with airing lessons for primary 4 to primary 5 starting on June 14th saying the timetable for the rest of the learners will be communicated at a later date. Parents and guardians should therefore avail the children with radios and permit them to access the lessons on time.

This is a good gesture for all the students to catch up as they cannot afford to lose more time as was lost during the first lockdow
