Lenovo announced the Smart Clock 2 at $90 and it comes with a wireless charging pad that lets you top up battery easily. The Smart Clock 2 is a four-inch display just like its predecessor. A noticeable change is the speakers which are facing forward for better sound projection.
It’s not quite clear whether the wireless charging dock is included in all regions yet — a press release says this is an optional accessory, but Lenovo told Engadget that the $90 price includes the pad. There’s still a USB-A socket on the back edge for wired charging, so you’ll juice up with cable too.
The other Smart Clock 2 features are; swipe on the screen to see and set alarms, get the weather forecast, control your smart home devices and more. The Assistant is available for your spoken requests and there’s also a microphone mute switch if you’d rather the device not hear you.
The Lenovo Smart Clock 2 comes in two new more color options to choose from: black and blue.
