Are you one of the majority who makes fitness plans all year round but for some reason, you don’t complete them? You can solve your fitness problems with consistency. Consistency will help you overcome that which we dread most after a workout; getting sore. You can work out every day and not get sore provided you do it constantly.
Set goals: For you to solve your fitness problems with consistency, you need to set goals. Find or develop a plan that will help you achieve your desired goal. For any plan you set, there is no need to rush too hard and demanding exercises. Start small and gradually progress to the demanding workouts. If you are lifting weights, start small and progressively add on more pounds. The same applies to run, yoga, squats, and other exercises you set out to do. You can find fitness on the internet for free.
Be Consistent: Try to be uniform and follow your plan all the time. Sometimes you may come short and miss some days on the set fitness plan. Do not beat yourself and make twice as much as the exercises to compensate for the missed days. Overstraining your body will not do you much good apart from undesired pain. Remember that having that intense workout will not lead you to the goal faster.
Stay motivated while you focus on the process: Don’t measure progress by the time you spend in training. Progress will happen when what you do is actually aimed at achieving your goal. Focus on the goal and focus on what you want to look like in 2,3 or 5 years. Trust in the process and you will be where you want to be.
